This may happen if teamslide cannot write to teamslide's own /logs directory on your webserver. The "How to install guide" explains how to overcome that (see setting write permissions). You can turn-off error logging in teamslide 1.4 by changing ALLOW_ERROR_LOGGING in the file "includes/configure.php" to "false". In the upcoming teamslide 1.8, error logging is turned off by default.
Regards

After doing the server test (it passed) and installing the software, when we get to step (5) Goto www.yourserver.com/TS/index.php to start setup - we instead get the dialogue box, sans images, along with the linePHP Warning: fopen(/ts/logs/error.log): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in C:\hshome\cmn360\5stxx.com\ts\includes\application_top.php on line 73repeated 7 times. We are hosted on ourinternet.us. Have you seen an error like this before?
