Blinklife is a new concept to keep a private and secure communication between your family members and friends. It's a kind of Blog - which is powered by e-mails, contains tags to group up things and integrates a discussion system. It has a public and private part which can be specific to be some contacts or groups. Public postings are posted on the Home page of yours similer like a blog. lets take an inside look of blinklife system.

After signup and validation of your blinklife account you will have your personal start page, example as http://yourname.blinklife.com

To start using blinklife you gotta have some contacts in your contacts list

you can start adding contacts via your contacts list by clicking on contacts

Okay lets say you have some contacts in your contact list .. Lets start composing something for them and make it public.

On the composition box you can add multiple pictures, assign tags to the post. Blinklife composer window contains rich text formatting controls but it surely missing color attribute buttons, i hope they will be adding it soon. After composing a message go down to the page to click the send button. Make sure you don't close the window while it's uploading and publishing the contents.

Once it's published, blinklife will take you to the home page of yours.. see the shot below (It's a public view of the Post)

Well lets see how does it look like when contacts received the e-mails

When you've choose to make a post private, only the contacts you've send the post will have an unique link to open the post from their e-mail. Private messages will not be displayed on your home page.

Every post features reply option to start a discussion. Users of blinklife has the option to post reply with photos and ability to grab photos from other peoples/friends posts.

From my point of view blinklife is an excellent new concept to keep people connected with each other in a different and more personalized way. The implementation of blinklife can be anything, starting from creating personal site for friends, family, co-workers or groups of people, to your private or public newspaper of your life. Blinklife is powered by Web 2.0/Ajax, gives you interactivity with performance for your day to day use. A small problem i've encountered that Tags from old posts cant be removed(i can remove from the edit post page but after saving it, it re-appears again). I'm sure they will going to fix it soon.
