Police is Raiding Torrent Site Owners

Do you know what is Torrent? Of course you do cause maybe you are downloading TV Shows or movies right now. One of most well known torrent tracker and collector site has been raided by swidish polices. The allegation was breach of copy-right law, alternatively assisting breach of copy-right law. The police officers were allowed access to the racks where the TPB servers and other servers are hosted. All servers in the racks were clearly marked as to which sites run on each. The police took down all servers in the racks, including the non-commercial site Piratbyrån, the mission of which is to defend the rights of TPB via public debate. According to police officers simultaneously questioning the president of Rix|Port80, the purpose of the search warrant is to take down TPB in order to secure evidence of the allegations mentioned above.

Well I'm quite sure they will back within a Week or so. Also you should know the TPB can receive compensation from the Swedish state in case that the upcoming legal processes show that TPB is indeed legal.

Google tests out Click-to-Call AdWords

Google is apparently testing out click-to-call AdWords - I can’t see it myself, but here’s how it works, direct from the Google Click-To-Call FAQ:

What’s the phone icon on Google search results? How does it work?

We’re testing a new product that gives you a free and fast way to speak directly to the advertiser you found on a Google search results page – over the phone.

Here’s how it works: When you click the phone icon, you can enter your phone number. Once you click ‘Connect For Free,’ Google calls the number you provided. When you pick up, you hear ringing on the other end as Google connects you to the other party. Then, chat away on our dime.

We won’t share your telephone number with anyone, including the advertiser. When you’re connected with the advertiser, your number is blocked so the advertiser can’t see it. In addition, we’ll delete the number from our servers after a short period of time.

Seems Google’s getting into the pay-per-call business. What are the rates, I wonder?

A lot of business implications here but at the moment that little evil part of me is thinking ‘great, a single form-field way to pester others with crank calls from advertisers at three in the morning.

Google AdWords - The Future

AdWords in result pages, AdWords on Gmail, AdWords soon on newspapers, AdWords on the radio, AdSense … ? where is the limit?
Google is buying the leftover ad space in the Chicago Sun-Times and filling it with AdWords ads related to the rest of the content. I wonder how they’re going to charge advertisers. The domains posted are the real domains, so it can’t exactly be pay-per-click.

Here i have few images could give you some future implementations of google adwords. It might looks funny but it could be possible also

Guess What 1 idea just bloop on my freaky mind… Google can accomplish this public ad services rather than internet. Well here is the Idea. They have to use Encoded url referrers with code. Lets say they Post Adwords ads on newspaper so everything will be same as internet ads except the domain part.. they could supply a common domain name (eg. www.googleads.com) and 1 unique parameters, for instance think about Tech2all.com . How they Will Implement Shown Below as an Example:

In that way the request is forwarded to the original domain but it goes through a script which can track the Pay-Per-Click cause that url is unique for that company www.tech2all.com . Also in this redirection script they can put ip tracking engine so that they can track real visitors. On the other hand google can launch web interface for adsense which is for the offline publishers and advertisers. Nothing is impossible.

The New York Times reports on web sites like DontDateHimGirl.com, ManHaters.com and TrueDate.com where women dish on date experiences with specific guys to warn other women in advance:

Framed in pink, the DontDateHimGirl.com site allows a woman to post the name and photograph of a man she says has wronged her, along with a short but often pungent synopsis of how precisely she was aggrieved. The suspicious or merely curious can hunt for a cheater by typing a name into the search engine. Women can also send e-mail messages through the site if they want to ask more pointed questions about a particular cad. In a slight nod to fairness, men who disagree with the characterization can write a rebuttal to be posted alongside their names.

ManHater.com ("we don’t hate all men, just the jerks!") uses a questionnaire to rate men. TrueDate.com searches particular personal ad profiles on people who’ve posted to matching sites like eHarmony, Match.com, Nerve or Yahoo! Personals - specifically correcting any erroneous information posted in the ad. That one, above all others, seems like a good stop before you arrange to meet someone you’re corresponding with through a personal ad.
