Flickr AutoDownloadr – Grab Flickr Photos

leave a comment

Flickr AutoDownloadr grabs any Flickr user's photostream and displays it as a slideshow on your computer.

Select photos by tag, set, someone's favorites, or date posted. Display them in order of interestingness or date posted. This is fantastic – especially for viewing photos you've marked as a favorite, the ones I always forget about – but my only wish is that the slideshow was screensaver-able. The Flickr AutoDownloadr is a free download

Flickr mods and hacks

Strategic Public Relations Blog has a nice list of Flickr hacks, tips, and ideas.

Flickr Portfolio: Face it. Attachments suck. If you’re angling for a new job and simply HAVE to show them a media placement, you can create a Flickr clip book. Scan reprints or use images from the article to link to it online. This works even better for any printed materials you’ve created. Just be sure to adhere to online copyright rules and regs.
