Jaiku is another web presence site which you might have already seen in similar services like Twitter and Pownce. There are a few variations of Twitter in different languages. Previously I've wrote about Twitter. Twitter clouded the whole internet in a very short time. Jaiku is offering something which is like twitter but with some additional functionality. Hictu is a new Web application which allows users to provide and receive availability information about their contacts. Through a one-to-one, secure authorization mechanism users can invite their contacts and in just few minutes retrieve a useful set of information regarding their availability and communication means. It supports majority of communication platforms for each of your contacts, you can keep your contacts updated through Post including audio, video, text and RSS feed changes.
Hictu can record from your microphone or webcam directly using Adobe flash technology.
Once your friends accepts the invitations from you you will be able to see their communication preferences

Features Hictu currently missing out is :
- Selectively display updates from Selected contacts or from Public
- Scheduled posting of messages
- Add import options to import from popular webmail platforms
- Ability to create a group contacts, as example: family, relatives, friends, co-workers etc.
- Interface improvement
- Synchronize with Twitter or similar applications
- Post via E-mail, post something just sending a secret e-mail alias.
- Photo attachment in posts

Symbaloo is a new concept for searching things over the internet. Simple way to search the internet. Users can easily find information about: websites, videos, traveling, music, TV, medical, movies, phone numbers, translations, flight tickets, recopies, traffic, weather, and many other handy things that users look for on their daily dose of internet. Now it is accessible within a single click. Additionally users can add their own content links to Symbaloo, as example: blog feeds, news pages, media services and various other things. Symbaloo supports drag & drop functionality so it is fun and easy to modify the page in the bast & convenient way for a user to use it. Removing an item is simple, just drag it to the middle of the page. Blocks can be exchanged positions between each other. Powered by ajax and Web 2.0 Symbaloo could be a busy persons web startup page. Those who doesn't like the concept of leading Web 2.0 startup pages like PageFlakes.com or Netvibes, they most probably love the concept of Symbaloo.
What Symbaloo might want to do:
- Add user registration system, maintain user profiles
- Give an option for the users to select their language and area
- Integrate more Gadgets, Gmail mail topics display
- Integrate RSS reader
- Ability to add pages
- Notifier icons for updated feeds
- Display search results in an Internal ajax window
